Description of the Course Material
“Bringing systems thinking into the classroom” is a paper by professor Melde G. R. Gilissen of Utrecht University published on the International Journal of Science Education in May 2020. The main objective of this study is to identify guidelines and inputs to apply complex systems thinking in the teaching of biology and natural science in secondary schools. The author aims at providing two lessons for students to assist them in the comprehension and understanding of biology using complex system principles.
