Admission Requirements
Students that intend to participate in the course on Change Leadership are required to possess the following criteria:
- QQI Level 8 award or equivalent qualification and/or relevant life and work experience
- Applicants who do not have English as their first language must ensure they satisfy English Language requirements. For entry to undergraduate courses, a minimum score of 5.5 in an IELTS exam is required. For postgraduate courses, a minimum of 6.0 is required. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure their English proficiency meets these requirements.

The knowledge developed in this course is on leadership theories in general. Students are able to improve their communication and organizational skills, as well as leadership competences when it comes to change dynamics.
Programme
This Certificate is designed to enable participants to develop their knowledge and skill as creative leaders in their chosen field. The modules included in the curriculum are:

Using the principles of process consultation, participants will lead a change project that addresses a particular issue/opportunity in their relevant field.

Teaching Methodology
This course uses blended learning. It includes a combination of a. contact time (Lectures and supervision meetings where lectures will be used to deliver core concepts), b. online learning (monthly forum meeting and online materials) and c. self-directed learning which will be supported through case materials, relevant articles, and the core text.

Examination Methodology
Module Assessment Strategies (100% Continuous Assessment)
• Personal Leadership Project: Participants have the opportunity to choose an aspect of leadership that they wish to develop for themselves and then devise and implement a plan to acquire it.
• The Leadership Challenge: Working in pairs, participants chose one aspect of Leadership that they will then research and present to their peers.
• Change Project: Work in small teams to address an organizational or social issue and facilitate a change process to address it
Relevance
Real leadership and educational development require overarching strategic thinking, in particular sustainable leadership is very important in the context of the current needs of each country. Leaders of the future should be able to think using a complex system approach in order to face in a proper way the challenges derived from a changing environment and world. That’s why it is important to provide students with leadership and communication skills.
