Fuzzy Logic in COmplex SYstems

Area
Natural Scienc, Technologies

Thematic Area
Artificial intelligence (computer science and mathematics), Media technology (computer science and mathematics)

Description
The video contains a short description of main parts of the experts' system and its advantages. As fuzzy logic is widely applied in experts' systems, the basic principles of fuzzy logic are presented. They enable to convert textual rules into numerical values for computer to understand. Moreover, they aggregate knowledge and experience of many experts. The procedure of fuzzy logic application includes rule definition, fuzzification, rule aggregation, and defuzzification. The procedure is demonstrated by the example of software project risk estimation.

Points of Strength
The video contains short introduction in fuzzy logic, operations and example on how experts' knowledge can be converted in a form that computer can understand.
