Description
This video of ca. 9 min was developed specifically for the COSY Project by the Greek partner (Ionian University).
The video makes a short and concise presentation of the educational approaches and relevant resource types that may be employed for guiding the integration of systems thinking within the field of Green Chemistry. This integration may drastically promote the aims of green chemistry education regarding the development of higher order thinking skills and sustainable citizenship.
The presentation takes into account and combines the results of the most recent research in the field of chemistry education.



Points of Strength
The point of strength of this video is that it is grounded on firm evidence provided from the relevant research literature and can serve as a motivator for further search by the science teacher interested in applying education for sustainable development approaches in the classroom.
