Description of the Interactive Tool
The Fishing Game is a simulation game invented by an author of the Molleindustria Blog. The game rules and printable materials are available for everyone to be downloaded and used. The main idea behind this analog game is to help students understand complex systems thinking by simulating a fishery market in one country of their choice. The simulation is held in qualitative terms and it is inspired by a real world scenario. By playing this game, students can spot some feedback loops, which are important to untangle system thinking. The author also gives some explanations and ideas for further discussion in the blog article cited above.

Points of Strength
The Fishing Game has a variety of points of strength. First of all, it’s easy to reproduce. Everyone can do that, at different class levels. The rules are well written, and the material is there to be printed. The benefits of this game are tangible. Students get to understand what feedback loops are and there is room for discussion at the end of this 30-minutes game. This simulation helps mirroring and simplifying different aspects of real-world systems, making it easier for teachers to explain these concepts to their students.
